Exquisite Guatemala coffee with notes of chocolate, caramel, almond, and cinnamon with a smooth mouth feel. Perfect for cold-brew coffee.
If you haven’t tried our Guatemala coffee from San Vicente Pacaya, you are in for a treat! From the slopes of the Pacaya volcano in southern Guatemala, this coffee grows in rich volcanic soil with the perfect amount of rain and humidity. Located on the southern slopes of a sizable caldera, the Pacaya volcano is one of Central America’s most active volcanoes over the past 500 years. The volcanic soil provides rich nutrients that give the coffee its exquisite flavor.
Two main coffee farms contribute to the production of this Guatemala coffee. The Perea Family Farm is a third generation farm managed by Jorge Perea and his father. Along with coffee, the farm also grows apricot and banana trees as well as raising bees. The Ramirez Family Farm, operated by Don Francisco Ramirez and his nephew Alfonso, is one of the oldest coffee farms in the area. They also operate the local processing mill.
Springtown Roasters proudly supports this amazing coffee from Guatemala. With notes of chocolate, cinnamon, almonds, and caramel and a smooth mouth feel, this Guatemala coffee will brighten your day. Made either as a hot cup of coffee or as a classic cold brew, this coffee stands on its own as a great specialty coffee should!
